The jazz guitarist and composer Javier Alcántara ( Badajoz, 1977) who had already played in the disk group Namouche Special Quartet ( with Peter Sambeat , Alexis Cuadrado and Hugo Alves as guests ) now edit this Short Stories of eleven original tracks . He is accompanied on this record integrated by Narciso González Extremadura (tenor and soprano saxophones ) and the Portuguese Diogo Santos (piano , keyboards and melodica) , André Ferreira ( bass) and André Mota (drums), the band with musicians who share Alcántara different projects. André Fernandes, one of the most prominent jazz guitarists of Portugal intervenes as a guest on " Duende de Luz "

Alcántara has stated that on this album, recorded in Lisbon on 8 and 9 March of this year, " every one of the compositions have their own life and relationship between them, little stories that make up a story. People, travel , encounters and intertwining topic after topic. Common denominator change , improvisation and uncertainty as creative value and growth. Which, to me, is the essence of jazz ... and life .
